The police said: “We are now releasing a third photograph of Gail, and also want to hear from anyone who has CCTV cameras and lives in New Mills, Thornsett or any other surrounding area – and may have captured Gail walking yesterday.

“Gail left home in Hawk Road at about 7.15am and was seen in High Hill Road about 10 minutes later.

“If you have CCTV cameras, please watch your footage and if you believe you have recordings of Gail, we would like you to contact us using one of the below methods.”

The police said trained officers and mountain rescue volunteers will continue with their search operations with the assistance from the National Police Air Service.
