Joanne Tomlinson had let her Pug Pedro out in the garden of a property on Ashbourne Lane on Sunday at around 7.15pm so he could go to the toilet.
But when Joanne called him in a couple of minutes later, he didn’t respond and when she went out to find him, he had disappeared.

Hide AdJoanne and a group of family, friends and volunteers, had been out searching for Pedro ever since, even putting up posters and handing out fliers in the area today.
There were concerns Pedro had become one of the latest dogs to be stolen after a huge rise in dog thefts recently.
But thankfully, he was found safe well this afternoon after being discovered wandering around the garden of a nearby property.
Joanne said: “I can’t thank everyone enough for their help in getting him home.

"I don’t think I’ll ever know where Pedro was but I am glad he’s home.”
