The snack packs include a sandwich, fruit and malt loaf.

In addition, the store’s customers are invited to help the effort by buying ‘Pick Up Packs’ of nutritious food, priced from £1 to £5, which are then put aside to be delivered to young people who need them.

Volunteers from High Peak food bank and Buxton Street By Street Covid-19 response group are helping to dis tribute the food.

Across the country, Morrisons has supplied 15,000 lunchboxes to be filled in its 498 stores during the school half-term holiday .
