Megan made seven operational finds and won a police commendation for her work with Buxton Mountain Rescue Team.
Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England today posted this poignant photo of the border collie, alongside the message: “This weekend we said goodbye to Search Dog Megan.
“A 15-year-old border collie, she was enjoying retirement after a fantastic career as a search & rescue dog….
“Thank you Meg. We’ll miss you.”
