Art students Annie Baldwin and Abbie Ingleby, both 20, started their business Be Kind Cards last year.

However, as lockdown left the pair with more time on their hands they decided to design a pair of one-off pieces in 2020 and raise money for good causes.

Using lino printing - where a design is cut into a piece of lino and then inked - the duo have created two beautiful designs.

One of them - produced by Annie - shows a Christmas robin while Abbie’s is a festive Buxton scene featuring landmarks such as the Dome and Solomon’s Temple.

All profits from the card sales will go to blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, mental health charity MIND and Action Against Hunger - for which Abbie plans to trek to Everest base camp once the pandemic is under control.

Annie told how she had friends who had turned to MIND for help during the pandemic.

“Education has drastically changed and that plays a big part.”

The former Buxton Community School students have so far sold over 120 packs of the cards.

Cards come in packs of four - either identical or mixed - and the two have produced 10 frameable limited edition A4 prints of Abbie’s Buxton scene.
