Today the Burbage Primary School remains closed while a clean is carried out however the school confirmed in a letter to parents it planned to reopen on Monday.
It understood the affected parent had stayed at the H10 Costa Adeje Palace Hotel in Tenerife - where 160 British people are in quarantine.
The school say the child of the affected parent did not travel with them but did attend the school on Monday and Tuesday.
Worried mum Sarah Jo told how Buxton Community School had cancelled an options evening for Year 9 students.

She said: “If they’re worried about options evenings then why aren’t schools worried about having kids there during the day?
“All schools should be having a deep clean this weekend.”

Sarah Jo said she had decided to keep herself and her children at home during the coming weekend and was ‘mopping the floor with Dettol’ every time she had a visitor.
Yesterday’s shock announcement sparked headlines that Buxton was ‘in lockdown’ however town businesses say life continues as normal.
Kerry Clarkson, a waitress at No.6 The Square Tearooms, said they had received no cancellations however it was ‘quiet’.

She said: “It’s a lot quieter than normal but we haven’t lost any bookings.
“It hasn’t really affected us yet - if we hadn’t had snow I might think something was wrong.

“But it’s not unusual for the town centre to be quiet when the weather’s bad.”
Meanwhile High Peak MP Robert Largan took to social media to label national news coverage of the scare ‘unhelpful’
After several national titles wrote Buxton was in ‘lockdown’ he said: "This is really unhelpful. A primary school and a doctors temporarily closing does not constitute a 'lockdown'”.
