Bakewell fashion student’s lockdown pizza nights spark Domino’s dress
Fauve Wright used 20 discarded pizza packages to craft the unusual culinary couture for her final year university project.
An eye-catching photo shows the billowing-style dress modelled by younger sister Tiny, 15.

Hide AdCovid-19 lockdown forced Fauve - in her final year at the Fashion Communication course at Northumbria University - to come up with a fresh idea for her last project.
So she made and photographed a number of garments made from any objects she could find around the house she shares with her parents and three siblings.
Alongside the pizza dress she made a clown’s ruffle from toilet rolls and a head-piece made from wire.
She said: “Coronavirus has made me think in a different way - you have to just get on with it and work with whatever you can get.

Fauve - who would like a career in creative direction photography - said the dress was more a creative image than a garment to be worn on a night out.
Though she added: “It looked good for the picture but she (sister Tiny) could wear it out if she wanted to.”
