Pensioner has handbag stolen by thief in Buxton supermarket

Police are appealing for information after a thief stole a handbag from a pensioner in Buxton.

At 11.45am on Friday, April 28, a 79-year-old woman went shopping in Waitrose at Spring Gardens, putting her handbag in the trolley.

When she came to pay for her shopping, she realised that her bag had been stolen. Her bag is large and a faded navy blue colour.
