The sad news comes after the store was closed on Saturday afternoon - with a handwritten note placed on its doors reading ‘due to an incident we are closed until further notice’.

A photo taken from the scene showed the store’s glass doors covered up with taped-on pieces of paper beside the note.

As the incident unfolded at the weekend onlookers reported seeing a police car leaving the scene.
