Tim Budd (pictured), Patrick Haley and Phil Shackleton started out from Edale at 7am on the Saturday morning, and battled through driving rain, snow and howling gales along the Pennine Way to reach Hawes in North Yorkshire.

Physiotherapist Tim finished first in just over 30 hours. Patrick pulled out of the race after 55 miles due to fatigue, while Phil completed the race on Monday afternoon, 56 hours after leaving Edale. All three runners ran in aid of team funds, so far raising £1,770. To make a donation, visit http://bit.ly/234p5u1.
