This is one of the plus points of being part of a general friendship group such as ours, in that you get
chances to try a huge variety of things.
It’s easy to get in the rut of going back to the same haunts and to have a predictable daily routine, and to also sit in a comfort zone of experiences and knowledge.

Hide AdI get that, as there’s a feeling of safety and reassurance that comes with this.
But every now and then it’s really good to open ourselves up to new perspectives and to put ourselves in situations that challenge us a little.
Peppering regular routines with new activities can make a huge difference to our happiness.
Being part of a local social group can give you things to look forward to and things to talk about long afterwards.

Hide AdOur members got so much from giving the clay pigeon shooting activity a try. They’re still chatting about it and have already booked in to give it another go in spring!
We’ve some great things planned from now until the end of the year in and around Chesterfield, Baslow, Buxton and Higham.
And one of the best bits is that it’s all organised for you. You just need to turn up and enjoy yourself.
We have our regular hosted coffee mornings, lunches and walking club, but we’ve also an overnight trip to Liverpool planned on October 24.
