No plans to reopen Buxton's iconic Grove Hotel
The iconic hotel shut its doors in August 2013 and over the summer scaffolding went up at the front of the landmark building and part of its front wall was removed.
A Robinson’s Brewery spokesperson said: “A lot of the work to the building has been carried out to address an issue with water ingress into the fabric of the building. This has been carried out to support our tenants in the shop units below the hotel.

The hotel began as coffee house around 1770, evolving into a coaching house.
