The old, rusting swings at Bridgemont, near Whaley Bridge, have been replaced by new, modern ones, new rubber safety surfacing has been laid and the existing play equipment at the site has been painted.

The work has been funded by High Peak Borough Council and three Whaley Bridge ward councillors, Andrew Fox, David Lomax and John Pritchard, who donated their Councillor Initiative Fund to the project.
