Special stamps featuring iconic landmarks including the Torrs Walkway in New Mills are to feature in an online gallery.
Over the past 50 years, Royal Mail has produced a series of Special Stamps, celebrating the UK and its national characteristics.
Now, as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Special Stamp programme, Royal Mail has launched an online gallery of every Special Stamp issued since July 1965, which includes images from Derbyshire.
In 2000, a special stamp featuring the Torrs Walkway was produced, alongside a stamp celebrating the Trans Pennine Trail.
Visitors to the site at www.rmspecialstamps.com can browse through the stamps by the decade and also view the stamps that were issued in the year they were born.
There is also a video featuring broadcaster and historian Dan Snow talking about the programme on the website.
