New greenhouse at Buxton school built using 1,300 plastic bottles

They teamed up with Buxton Rotary Club and Rotaran Alan Thompson said he hoped the project would highlight the importance of recycling to the children.

He said: “The pupils brought in more than 1,300 plastic bottles to make the walls of the greenhouse and I hope that as they grow older they will remember this project and the positive impact recycling can have on the environment.
