A new Buxton Town guide aimed at attracting visitors and providing a wealth of information has been launched by Vision Buxton.
Seventy seven thousand copies of the 48-page guide will be distributed and displayed over the next year at tourist information offices, accommodation providers, attractions and shops including Waitrose, who supported the guide.
It includes information on where to stay, what to do, where to eat and shop and details of Buxton’s main events as well as a heritage trail and map of the town.
David Mulholland, of the Vision Buxton marketing group and board who helped produce the guide, said: “I have been told by many local businesses that this guide is one of the most useful booklets in Buxton. It is a necessity to help disperse visitors around the town and also inform locals of the diverse range of independent shops.”
