Glossop Mountain Rescue Team helped a 60-year-old female with a knee injury.
The incident happened on the afternoon of Thursday, April 23.
A spokesman said: “With it been mid week we also asked for Oldham and Woodhead teams to attend, we had further information that the casualties location was just to the north of Laddow rocks on the Pennine Way.
“With Oldham team been first to arrive at the scene, the casualty was been treated by air ambulance paramedic, which just meant a short carry to the helicopter.”
The woman, from Deepcar, was flown to Huddersfield hospital.
The walking group that she was with were guided back to Crowden by team members.
