Motorists caught behind the wheel with their phones - just hours after tougher laws come into force

Seven drivers were caught using their phones at the wheel in Morley, Derbyshire, on Wednesday morning - just hours after new laws were brought in to tackle the problem.

Police caught the motorists during an operation at the Three Horseshoes pub on Main Road in Morley to mark the introduction of increased penalties.
