All the money raised will be donated to Manchester Children’s Hospital in James’ name.

Frank Hambleton, from Buxton Motorbikes Club, said: “James was a popular member of the club and left a young daughter.”

The ride will start from the driveway of Haddon Hall Care Home, on London Road, Buxton, meeting at 9am ahead of a 9.30am departure.

The club recently auctioned off a set of race leathers donated by Neil Hodgson,a former British Superbike Champion and World Superbike Champion who is now a pundit on BT Sport.

The auction raised £550 for the memorial fund.
