Man who collapsed in Peak District goes missing from hospital

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a man who collapsed in the Peak District and went missing from Royal Derby Hospital.

Paul Ryan was admitted to the accident and emergency department after a passer-by found him collapsed in the Peak District on Monday, November 3.

He had complained of abdominal pains while out walking and was due to have assessments at the hospital.

But he left the hospital on Friday, November 7 without informing healthcare staff.

The 56-year-old is white, about 5ft 8ins, of slim build with brown, greying hair. He was wearing glasses with thick, dark blue frames. At the time he left, he was wearing a green hospital-issue top and navy jogging bottoms.

Police are keen to trace Mr Ryan and want to hear from anyone who has seen him or has information on his whereabouts.

Anyone with information should call Derbyshire police immediately on 101, quoting incident 463 of November 7.
