Major Derbyshire road closed after crash between car and lorry
Part of a major Derbyshire road was closed last night after a crash between a car and a large goods vehicle.
One lane of the A52 was closed east-bound between A5111 and the M1 east of Derby and there were long delays in the area.
Police and fire services attended the scene just after 8pm on Friday.
The road was reopened at 9.45pm after the block was removed and debris cleared.
Police said it the incident initially looked ‘serious’ but everyone involved was okay.
