Learn about prehistoric sea creatures of the Peaks

Families can explore fossils of sea–creatures embedded in the Peak District’s limestone cliffs on a free short guided walk this Saturday.

The “Life in Ancient Seas” walk, led by Peak District National Park rangers, sets off from Millers Dale ranger centre, at the old Millers Dale station on the Monsal Trail, at 1.30pm, returning for 4pm. There is no need to book.

The walk is part of the Life in Ancient Seas project developed by Buxton arts group, Stone and Water, and will include fossils.
