Laptop and jewellery stolen in Hadfield burglary

Police are appealing for information after a laptop containing sentimental photos was stolen from a house in Hadfield.

The property, in Goddard Lane, was broken into between about 5.40pm and 7.50pm on March 30.

Among the items taken was cash, a white gold chain necklace with a diamond pendant and a men’s Seiko wristwatch.

A Hewlett Packard laptop containing several photographs of the victim’s deceased former partner was also stolen in the break-in.

Police are appealing for witnesses and want to trace the laptop, which is black and grey and has distinctive butterfly stickers on the top.

Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
