Ladies' group considers resolutions
Chapel WI received a donation from Derbyshire County Scout Council in recognition of their help with the catering at the Four Inns Walk. The cheque was presented to Peter Corbett for the Air Ambulance Service Night Car Appeal.
The ladies of Chapel WI met to consider the resolutions put forward by NFWI for the coming year. The resolutions are avoid food waste, address food poverty and appropriate care in hospitals for people with dementia.
Julie Davenport and Allison Berry gave talks on the topics and the ladies then debated the issues. After much deliberation, the ladies voted.
