BUXTON residents are being asked to brew up and boost the funds of a cancer charity.

Marie Curie Cancer Care is looking for locals to hold a Blooming Great Tea Party in June and July to help raise funds for the Marie Curie nurses who provide free care to people with terminal cancer and other terminal illnesses in their own homes.

Events can be as simple as a cuppa with colleagues, a vintage-inspired tea party or even a bigger party to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.

Call 08700 340 040 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/teaparty for more information and your free Blooming Great Tea Party fundraising pack.

To get help from the Marie Curie Nursing Service, talk to your GP, district nurse or discharge nurse. For more information, visit: www.mariecurie.org.uk.
