There’s just days left for community groups to apply for a share of funding from an new grant aimed at supporting local initiatives which make a difference in the High Peak community.
The £2,500 Get Better with Nature Community Fund, being run by Nestle Waters and the Get Better with Nature Campaign, is awarding one-off grants of up to £1,000 to High Peak charities and groups.
It is targeted at contributing to local initiatives which can deliver a real impact by improving the environment and helping people understand and appreciate how nature can benefit the health and wellbeing of local communities and businesses.
Applications are open until July 31 with planned projects to be completed by the end of 2015.
A panel of experts will judge the applications.
