The items stolen were of sentimental value and include a bearing from a British battle tank with an inscription on the side (with a five franc coin in it), an engraved silver plate, a silver napkin ring, a silver mirror, a horn, and a pewter horse knife and fork stand.

PC Hannah Cocker said: “Are you an antique dealer or pawn broker in the Derbyshire Dales or Sheffield area, who has been offered these distinctive items for sale recently?
