His first post as a teacher was at Leek High School, so he is interested in returning to the area.

Steve lives in Stone, and it is the local aspect of the events before the Battle of Bosworth in 1485 which he will be focusing on.

It was here that Henry Tudor met up with the Stanley brothers before the battle. Something “went on”, which resulted in Henry Tudor becoming King Henry VIII, and may have had some impact on the people who lived in the area around Under Whitle at this time. The recent archaeological dig there has revealed evidence for a possible Tudor house, we are just awaiting the latest news.

Everyone is very welcome and club members look forward to seeing you and sharing their great homemade cakes.
