Businesses are being offered the chance to get a head start on their Christmas sales by booking a stall at this year’s autumn fair in aid of the Thomas Theyer Foundation.

One exhibitor who came in 2015 is booking double the space for the event in the Devonshire Dome on October 23 after experiencing an 80 per cent increase in sales.

“It was brilliant,” said Vicky Zoppi Chelton, of online gift business A Touch of Chic. “I was about 80 per cent up on the week’s sales, and I’m booking two tables this time – it was that good.”

The Fair offers a wide range of Christmas present ideas and family events from 10am to 4pm.

Use of the spectacular venue has been donated by the University of Derby to support the Foundation, set up in memory of keen runner and Buxton Athletics Club member Thomas, who died suddenly aged just 18 in 2013.

The fair will include food, drink, artisan and craft stalls to provide something for all the family.

Anyone who would like to book a stall – for just £20 – can get a booking form from Vicky Eyre at vicky.eyre@thomastheyerfoundation.org.uk, telephone 07889 755865 or download the booking form from the Thomas Theyer Foundation website.

Entry for visitors is free - please come along and support the charity and enjoy the day.
