A Disley firm has stepped in to help customers affected by the sudden closure of Tideswell School of Food.
The cookery school closed on October 6 because of financial difficulties, leaving a number of customers wondering how to get refunds for courses they had booked.
But now Design a Sausage, who are based on Buxton Road, have stepped in to help. Gaynor Preece, from the company, said: “As an independent facilitator of sausage-making courses at Tideswell School of Food, I was saddened to hear of its closure and so desperately upset for those who had pre-booked courses and felt disappointed and let down.
“We would love to make things a little better. We would like to offer a free sausage-making course to the first 20 voucher holders who lost out on their courses.
“Of course there will be no additional costs, we’ll just need confirmation of booking from Tideswell School of Food. It won’t be the course they booked but we can guarantee lots of smiles, authentic tips and gorgeously delicious results.”
