The Buxton Safer Neighbourhood team are encouraging residents to head online to help set policing priorities.
Safer Neighbourhood officers usually host quarterly priority meetings to give residents the opportunity to raise any concerns about crime with the team.
However, in order to give more people the chance to have their say; they are now being asked to contact the team via email or post.
The team will then use the feedback from the public to set the neighbourhood priorities for the following three months.
The current policing priorities for Buxton Town see the team tackling shoplifting, anti-social behaviour, speeding and nuisance driving.
PC Mark Parkinson from the Buxton Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “We understand our residents have busy lives and can’t always attend meetings so to make it easier for them, we’re asking them to email or post their priority suggestions and crime issues.
“Hearing the views of our local residents is really important to us so that we can tackle the issues that matter to them most in their neighbourhood.
“With only five days left before the closing date, I would ask residents to spend a few minutes to share their views with us and help to shape neighbourhood policing in their community.”
You can get in touch with the team by emailing Buxton.Neighbourhood@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk or writing to:
