Blythe House in Chapel-en-le-Frith is asking people to have a ‘Girls Night In’ to celebrate Hospice Care Week.
The annual awareness-raising week, from October 5-11, aims to raise the profile of hospice care across the UK.
This year’s theme, ‘Connecting Care and Hospices’, will be highlighting the special role they play in connecting individuals and families, with local communities and connecting people with each other.
Lucy Marsden, Blythe House fundraiser, said: “We are simply asking people to invite their friends round for a fun night and in return they give a donation of what they would have spent on a night out to help Blythe House’s vital work.”
Free Girls’ Night In fundraising packs, containing lots of helpful ideas and tips to make your night a success, are available from the hospice.
