Northern Rail has launched a new poster campaign urging its customers to be vigilant and report anti-social behaviour.
The posters will be displayed on all Northern trains, bringing them to the attention of hundreds of thousands of passengers every day.
Martyn Guiver, Head of Crime Management for Northern, said: “With this approach we are seeking assistance from our law-abiding customers, and ask them to help us identify those who cause a problem for our passengers.
“We have seen a reduction in anti-social behaviour across our network in the last twelve months; however this is something we want to bring down even further.”
“Even though we have invested heavily in CCTV; on trains, at many stations and a mobile vehicle, we rely on our passengers to help us ensure anyone carrying out anti-social behaviour is brought to the attention of British Transport Police.”
