The High Peak Lodge of Freemasons have donated £200 to the fund additional activities at High Peak Twins and
Multiples Club.

The club, which has been running since 2004, offers support, friendship and practical advice to families expecting or caring for twins and multiples.

Sarah Boardman, chair of the club, said: “Mothers of multiples are at higher risk of experiencing postnatal depression. Our members find twins club makes a positive difference to their lives and the lives of their children.”

Philip Warhurst, from High Peak Lodge, said: “The club meets weekly at the Children’s Centre in Harpur Hill and this donation will help to fund additional activities they enjoy at other venues.”
