Fire started in basement of home
A house fire in New Mills was believed to have been started by a consumer unit in the basement that overheated.
The fire at the house in Bridge Street broke out shortly after 6pm on Friday November 7. Fire crews isolated the electrical supply and advised the occupants to call an electrician to attend the property.
