Firefighters battled a large garage blaze for more than two hours this evening (Wednesday, December 3).
Crews from Whaley Bridge and Chapel-en-le-Frith were called to Market Street, Chapel-en-le-Frith, at 5pm.
Upon arrival they found a garage measuring 15 metres by 15 metres well alight.
The firefighters used two main lines to extinguish the blaze. Another fire engine from Buxton was requested, but was found not to be needed.
By 5.45pm the fire was under control and the crews started damping down the area.
It was out by 7.14pm.
