Members of High Peak Borough Council’s Development and Select Committee voted unanimously in favour of allowing Furness Vale Community Organising Green Space (COGS) to update the playing fields, off Park Avenue.

Work will now begin installing paths within, and surrounding, the park, with areas for benches and outdoor gym equipment alongside the paths. There are five different pieces of equipment to be installed, including a Tai Chi spinner, self weighted rowers, elliptical cross trainer, arm and pedal bike and an air walker.
