Police were called to the route at about 7.40am after the collision involving a Volvo XC60 and Volkswagen Scirocco.
A Derbyshire police spokesman said: "Thankfully, nobody has been injured - but we're at the scene to control traffic due to the collision causing an obstruction in the road."
