East Midlands Airport reopens after crash landing

East Midlands Airport has reopened after an aircraft crash landed on the runway.

The private aircraft is thought to have crashed on to the runway after its landing gear failed shortly after midday.

Leicestershire fire service attended the incident at the airport at Castle Donington, Leicestershire

Flights were suspended for two hours and no injuries have been reported.
