Buxton Mountain Rescue Team was called out twice over the weekend.

On Saturday April 2 at Wardlow Mires, an injured 70-year-old walker was rescued from Cressbrook Dale after slipping on wet rock.

On Sunday, 30 members of the Joint Buxton and Edale Teams Snatch Squad were at Rushop Edge after a 32-year-old male fell five metres when paracending. He had shoulder and chest injuries and was flown to the Royal Derby Hospital.
