Derbyshire firefighters tackle cement truck blaze.

Derbyshire Fire & Rescue service crews were called to a cement truck on fire in the Peak District last night.

A team from Glossop was called to the incident on the A624 near Monks Road, just outside Glossop, at around 9pm to reports of a cement lorry fire.

Two fire engines were called to the scene and later another pump from New Mills also attended.

A spokesperson said: "Upon arrival we found an LGV carrying cement was well alight.

"The stop message was received at 9.47pm.
