Members of the farming community were able to get checked over for any potential medical issues as part of a rural health MOT day.

People were able to drop-in for health check-ups while they were at Bakewell Agricultural and Business Centre for market day and also to receive information on a range of health and wellbeing services available locally.

The rural health team from Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust has a clinic room beside the market, which offers regular first-point-of-contact care to farmers and members of the farming community on a regular basis.
