Date set for Bells Shoes to reopen in Buxton
In March, Bells Shoes made the shock announcement that it would be drawing its business operations to a close later this year.
However, a deal was struck earlier in the summer to keep open its popular store on Spring Gardens which will reopen in September 13.

“It won’t be long before we re-open our doors for business.”

Hide AdThe shop closed on August 4 for refurbishment and with a new stock delivery everything is now ready for the re-opening on Thursday, September 13.

Hide AdKeith said: “My colleagues have worked very hard to prepare our store for re-opening my painters have done a great job and the new house colours of blue and white look wonderful.
“We have purchased stock for the autumn and with the change of weather we all feel the timing of the re-launch is perfect.
“Our suppliers have done wonders with our deliveries and most of our stock comes from mainland Europe.”

Hide AdKeith, will now be running the independent store and the three Clarks franchise stores in Buxton, Leek and Macclesfield that were unaffected by the closure announcement with other son John.
Keith added: “Me and the staff are so excited about our new venture and looking forward to welcoming you all once again, and I hope all the staff who have retired from the from the business will join us as they have all contributed to our success.”
Adam Marsten head of wholesale at Hotter Shoes will officially open the store at 10am on Thursday, September 13.
