Woman and two men attacked at Chapel pub

A woman and two men were attacked at a pub in Chapel-en-le-Frith pub.

Officers were called to The Cobbles in Market Street at about 11.15pm on Sunday, August 30 following reports that a woman and two men had been assaulted by a group of people in the pub.

Police were told the disturbance happened inside the pub and spilled out into the yard and beer garden area.

The three people suffered minor injuries.

A Derbyshire police spokesman said: “The pub was busy and officers believe there could be witnesses who have yet to come forward.”
