A BUXTON man tried to throw away the evidence when police caught him with drugs.
“Officers saw Jason Whysall and another person hanging around, and they were searched,” Mike Treharne, prosecuting, told Chesterfield magistrates. “He had a syringe containing liquid amphetamine and he discarded it over a wall,”
The syringe was found with a bag of white powder amphetamine and Whysall21) said the drugs were for his own use.
“He said he left his flat with the drugs so no-one in the block of flats could steal them,” added Mr Treharne.
Student Whysall, of Kinder Way, Fairfield, appeared in court in custody and admitted two charges of possessing amphetamine on July 3, and a bail breach on August 30.
He received a one-year probation supervision order, including a six-month drug rehabilitation programme, with £85 costs.
