Robbery arrests

TWO men and a youth have been arrested on suspicion of robbing a group of friends.

At around 4.05pm on Saturday, January 7, five boys were stood at a bus stop in Bridge Street, Buxton, when they were approached by two men and a teenage boy.

One of the group confronted the friends and demanded they hand over their property. The boys gave the robbers some cash.

Detectives want to speak to anyone who was at the bus stop at the time, including a woman who challenged the three robbers before leaving on a bus.

A 14-year-old, 19-year-old and 18-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail pending further enquiries. Call DC Lambert at Glossop CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
