Quad bikers who travelled from Manchester to Buxton slapped with Covid breach fines

Police say they have issued more fines for Covid breaches after a group of off-road bikers broke lockdown rules by travelling from Manchester to Buxton.

Officers from Buxton SNT caught and fined the three bikers in Harpur Hill yesterday evening (February 15) at a disused quarry.

A spokesperson for the team said: “Remember we are still in the middle of a pandemic, so non-essential travel is not allowed. This includes coming over to our area for off-roading.”
