Probe into Buxton stabbing continues

Police were called to reports of a robbery at the One Stop Shop in Bench Road, Fairfield just after 12.15pm on Thursday (July 9).

On arrival, officers located a man with a stab wound to his chest.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are described as ‘serious’.

Police later sealed off Victoria Park Road as an investigation into the incident was launched.

They also carried out enquiries on Windsor Road.

No arrests have yet been made, a Derbyshire Police spokesperson confirmed.
