Hayley Young, aged 23, was thought to have been in the town centre yesterday but failed to return home or make contact with her family.

Derbyshire Police said the force is ‘seriously concerned for the welfare’ of the missing woman.

In a statement, the force added: “Our officers are searching for Hayley and are becoming increasingly concerned for her.

“We are asking for the public’s help in finding her and want to hear urgently from anyone who has seen Hayley or knows where she is now.”

She is white, of a stocky build, and has short, mousey coloured hair.

She sometimes wears a wig but is not thought to have that with her.

She also has tattoos on her forearms near her wrists, one of which is a flower and another a bright red pattern.
