Police appeal for witnesses after man seen with knife in Buxton

Officers were called to an incident involving a group fighting on Fairfield Road, near to Mellor and Smith Funeral Directors, at around 12.30pm on Saturday January 25.

An 18 year old man and a 16 year old boy were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon at the scene and have been bailed pending further inquiries.

No one has reported any injuries as a result of the incident.
